DIRECTOR – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

MULTIBAND – FARGO, ND

The IT Director will be responsible for managing 10–12 networking and helpdesk team members situated in multiple offices nationwide, maintaining a robust and secure voice and data network, monitoring and implementing procedures which make the computing environment safe from threats, and participating in strategic planning and problem solving with company directors and upper management. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills, great project management skills, and the ability to work with all departments across the company.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing 10–12 team members both locally and remotely
• Project management
• Manage file servers, Microsoft SQL Server databases, mail servers
• Administer users, groups, security, and system use policies
• Manage telephony systems
• Network management
• Software upgrade and maintenance
• Manage regular testing for Sarbanes-Oxley compliancy
• Manage security and disaster recovery plans
• Provide direction for new technology and practices
• Manage vendor relationships relevant to the position
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and/or equivalent experience
• Previous management experience
• Previous project development and management experience
• Strong working knowledge of Windows based programs, including Microsoft
• SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Operating System, and Microsoft Office
• Previous experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Previous Helpdesk experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
