POSITION OPENING
Marketing Manager August 25, 2009
The
Market Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day activities
of their assigned site, ensuring compliance and financial viability.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to operations, training,
safety, warehouse, tracking, and human resources. Also must ensure
that the assigned site achieves and maintains Multiband’s corporate
standards, goals and metrics by working with each applicable department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1.
Manages and reports on all of the sites activities to maximize each
department’s efficiency, productivity, quality, safety and
profitability. 2. Ensures that the assigned site achieves all departmental goals. 3. Communicates site performance, activities and needs to the Field Director. 4. Monitor all site expenditures to minimize waste. 5.
Ensure accountability within each department; including but not
limited to damage claims, quality of work, safety compliance and work
performance, 6. Create and maintain a positive work environment and supporting culture. 7. Interpret reports and set actionable goals. 8. Will interact with customers on an as needed basis. 9. Interface with customer representatives on an as needed basis. 10. Oversees the recruitment, hiring and retention of all site-based Associates. 11. Develop Associates through effective communication and leadership skills. 12. Ensure 100% customer satisfaction. 13. Some travel may be required. 14. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications 1. 4-year degree or equivalent work experience. 2. Proven leadership ability. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Strong interpersonal skills, management ability and industry knowledge. 5. Profit focused, results-oriented and an effective motivator. 6. Customer service experience. 7. DOL, State and OSHA compliance knowledge. 8. Strong computer skills including experience with Windows-based PC’s, and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements 1. Works in both a field and office environment. 2. Extensive walking to attend meetings and visit job sites. 3. Answers telephone calls and occasionally bends, reaches, and pushes and pulls file drawers to file records and reports. 4. Must have the ability to apply finger dexterity and use PC and related business.
